This is Hermès. Hermès is FERAL’s new face. Actually, not just a face. He has much more important duties and responsibilities. Currently though, he is being trained by his mate -the super-experienced Lupo
It was now time to plan a high-fashion photoshooting to introduce this well-respected brand ambassador to the world and to design an exclusive product created especially for him.
Blind Studio took on the design of the scarf and photographer Katsura-san created the best fitting concept for the shoot.
How did this play out? First, we met Hermès and talked with him about his views on life, work and the space in between. He told us that he wants to make work feel like a game, laugh with good jokes and listen to old school electronic music. Those elements are what fueled our creativity when designing the scarf; 80’s aesthetics, games and music.
Against this mashup background, Hermès played with the shooting concept and brought his own personal “paw” to the project, adding value to the product and making it more “feral-esque”.
While on set, we asked him to play around and combine his personality with FERAL’s identity to which he replied “This photoshoot is a statement and the product is a way to convey the true meaning of what FERAL is. Trust me I know what I am doing”. Hermés proceeded to take over the entire session and nailed the shot.
That’s how Hermès’ insightful eye set the tone for what later became our common creative path.
After all, Hermès shares more than a personal connection with the brand FERAL, he is FERAL.
